Course Introduction
This course will provide you with the knowledge required to teach infant and child massage to parents and carers to use on their own children.
An important part of this service is to facilitate and encourage bonding between the child and parent/carer. The use of massage also has a
soothing and reassuring effect on babies and young children and can help with conditions such as colic and improve sleep patterns
You will also gain knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathologies, business practice along with health, safety and hygiene. At the end of training you will be able
to deliver one to one infant/child massage instruction and group classes by demonstrating on a substitute doll
This is a suitable package for those working with children in a child care environment or nurses, health visitors or qualified holistic practitioners. You will need to
provide evidence of your qualifications as well as a current CRB prior to starting this training course.
On successful completion of the course VTCT will issue your certification
