Course Introduction
Bleaching of hair and chemical depilatory are now a popular salon treatment particularly for clients with superfluous (unwanted) hair.  However this service will compliment all clients particularly your waxing or Epilation clientele who may want an interim measure between treatments. .   
Most bleaching and chemical depilatory training is based upon product knowledge however on successful completion of the course you will be awarded with a qualification that is recognised in industry and will enable you to gain insurance.
The main objectives of this course are to specify how the therapist can perform bleaching of hair and chemical depilatory treatments in a safe effective manner. You will also be able to advise the client on self use of the products. The unit consists of contra-indications and aftercare advice to ensure the high standard s of treatment. Because extensive superfluous hair may be indicative of medically important disorders, the client must be advised to seek medical advice prior to treatment.

(Please ensure you have a patch test of products to be used 24 hours prior to this day, you may wish to purchase your
own kit ,academy can advise )

A four week gap between day one and assessment day will be given to allow for completion of case studies and completion of written tasks.

Day 2 Assessment Day
Submission of a written tasks on the theory delivered
Submission of case studies
Performance of 1 bleaching of hair & 1 chemical depilatory treatment.

(You will need to bring a client with you, ensuring they have had the relevant patch tests)
