Course Introduction
Body Wrapping & Body Masks are now popular salon treatments particularly for clients who are following a healthy lifestyle or as part of a slimming and weight loss programme. However this service will compliment all clients particularly your clientele who want quick effective results to balance the figure, detoxify the body with purifying and tightening results. This treatment is designed to compliment other body treatments. It can also be marketed as a package for special occasions or for before a holiday due to its inch loss effects.
The main objective of this unit is to assess the client and provide a body wrapping treatment with the objective of improving physical contours and body mask application to improve skin texture
Most body wrapping and mask treatments are based upon product knowledge however on successful completion of the course you will be awarded with a qualification that is recognised in industry and will enable you to gain insurance.
Entrance Requirements
No previous qualifications required
There is a pre-requisite requirement of units VR02 and VR74 ( VTCT level 3 diploma in supporting health, safety ,security and
employment standards) to this qualification, which can be completed simultaneously these qualifications have a currency of three years and replace M2 and M74 a independent exam is attached to these units.

Scheme of Work
Day 1
- Input on related theory to body wrapping
- Outline case study criteria
- Demonstration of Body wrapping
- Student practical performance on each other
Day 2
- Input on related theory to body mask application
- Outline case study criteria
- Demonstration of Body mask application
- Student practical performance on each other
A four week gap between day one and assessment day will be given to allow for completion of case studies and written tasks.
Day 3 - Assessment Day

Submission of a written tasks on the theory delivered
- Submission of case studies
- Performance of 1 x body wrap & 1 x body mask application.
(You will need to bring a client with you)
