Course Introduction
This qualification will enable you to understand and support health, safety and security in the workplace with regard to clients, oneself and colleagues.  It will enable you to be able to produce risk assessments on treatments and the environment and support your knowledge of legal requirements regarding acts and legislations and establishment rules. Guidance on employment standards involving professionalism, equality of treatment for clients, community involvement, hygienic practices, cost effectiveness, supporting protection from physical and mental abuse and how the image of the workplace can be enhanced is delivered. 

All these factors lead to greater success in service provision which leads to security in employment.

On successful completion of the course you will be awarded with a qualification that is recognised in industry and will enable you to gain insurance.

Entrance Requirements
No previous qualifications required although will generally be linked to another course you are undertaking where applicable.  The academy will request that you undertake this qualification if necessary for your chosen pathway.
