Course Introduction
This traditional massage treatment has been practiced in India as part of a family ritual for over a thousand years.
It involves massage to the upper arms, upper back, shoulders, neck, face & head over clothes or by using a variety of oils.
It is now an extremely popular treatment in industry well known for its ability to relax the client bringing relief from stress and tension and to balance the client's emotional state.
This course is an excellent therapy to add to your existing skills. On successful completion of the course you will be awarded with a qualification that is recognised in industry and will enable you to gain insurance.

Scheme of Work
Day 1
- Input on related theory
- Advise on completion of VR02/VR74 units if required
- Outline case study criteria
- Demonstration of treatment over clothes
- Student practical performance on each other
Day 2
- Input on benefits of oils
- Demonstration of treatment using oils on the skin
- Student practical performance on each other
A four week gap between day one and day three will be given to allow for completion of case studies, revision and completion of VR02/VR74 task book.
Day 3 - Assessment day
- Completion of a written test on the theory delivered
- Exam paper for VR02/VR74 if required
- Submission of VR02/VR74 task book if required
- Submission of case studies
- Performance of 1 practical assessment, you will need to provide a client
