Course Introduction
This course is tailor made to allow progression for the experienced and enthusiastic
massage or Beauty Therapist, enabling you to work confidently with all body electrotherapy
equipment which will include high frequency, faradic, galvanic, vacuum and micro
current. This course covers the skills involved in providing a thorough consultation
with the client to formulate a specific treatment plan and to ensure a dramatic
improvement to the client’s skin and or figure correction is made. Training is intense
and full commitment to home practice is essential.
On successful completion of the course VTCT will issue your certification

Course Content
- Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon
- Origins, principles and theories of massage
- Client care and communication in beauty related industries
- Anatomical and physiological knowledge of the body systems
- Maintaining personal health and wellbeing
- Aftercare and treatment advice
- Demonstration and practical performance of application of body electrotherapy treatments

Five days - 10.00-4.00 plus assessment sessions
1 day – High Frequency 1 day – Faradic
1 day – Galvanic
1 day – Underpinning knowledge
1 day – Origins, principles and theories of massage

Kit – access to electrical equipment will be required for practice and case study work, academy can advise
This is a flexible course and will be designed to suit the needs of the salon and
therapist.
Training and assessing in the workplace can be accommodated but travelling expenses
will be added to the course fees.
