Course Introduction
Reflexology is a form of treatment based on the belief that the body is dependent upon energy flows which can be improved through specific pressure massage of the hands and feet where all the internal body structures and organs are mapped or mirrored in miniature.
The treatment can be used for stimulation of systems and relaxation.
This course is an excellent therapy to add to your existing skills. Suitable for those currently employed in beauty therapy, holistic and health related sectors.
Upon successful completion of the course you will be awarded with a qualification that is recognised in industry and will enable you to gain insurance.

Scheme of Work
Day 1
- Input on related theory
- Advise on completion of VR02/VR74/VR160 units if required
- Outline case study criteria
- Demonstration of pre and post foot massage
- Mapping out of zone 1 and walking through this zone
- Student practical performance on each other
Day 2
- Input on related theory
- Demonstration of mapping out of zone 2 and walking through this zone
- Student practical performance please provide your own client for this day
Day 3
- Recap on zones 1 and 2.
- Demonstration of mapping out and walking through zone 3.
- Students practical performance (please provide your own client for this day)
Note: At least a ten week gap will be given between day three and day four to allow for completion of case studies, revision and completion of VR02/VR74 /VR160 task books.
Day 4 - Assessment
- Submission of underpinning knowledge task book
- Exam paper for VR02/VR74 if required.
- Submission of VR02/VR74 /VR160 task books if required.
- Submission of case studies.
- Performance of 1 practical assessment, you will need to provide a client for this day.
A six week gap between day one and day 2 (assessment day) will be given to allow for completion of work required and preparation for practical assessments.
Assessment Day
- Submission of underpinning knowledge task book
- Exam paper for VR02/VR74 if required
- Submission of VR02/VR74 /VR160 task books if required
- Submission of case studies
- Performance of 1 practical assessment, you will need to provide a client for this day
