Course Introduction
Threading is the art of removing hair from the eyebrows, face, arms and legs by using a cotton thread, a technique which
has been practiced in the East for hundreds of years.
This qualification is suitable for those employed in beauty or hairdressing and for those who wish to acquire expertise on its own.
On successful completion of the course you will be awarded with a qualification that is recognised in industry and will enable you to gain insurance.

- Client consultation and treatment planning

- Demonstration of procedure followed by student practical session

Cost
Training - £220
You will need to provide a model if one to one training is undertaken if not you will work on each other.
A fee of £60 is required for any additional assessment session
Scheme of Work
Day 1
- Input on related theory
- Input on VR02/VR74 if required
- Outline case study criteria
- Demonstration of threading techniques
- Student practical performance
A four week gap between day one and day two will be given to allow for completion of case studies and task book.
Day 2
- Submission of underpinning knowledge task book
- Completion of VR02/VR74 independent paper & task book if required
- Hand in case study criteria
- Complete practical assessments – you will need to perform threading to the eyebrows and lip or chin under assessment conditions. You will need to provide a model.
